Welcome to my classroom! My name is Denise Gizzo, and I am excited to be teaching English Language Arts and Writing to the third-grade students and the fourth-grade students at School Ten. Teaching is a second career for me. After graduating with a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in English from LaSalle University in Philadelphia, I worked for many years as a manager at a pharmaceutical company. In 2010, I earned a Post-Baccalaureate teaching certificate from Caldwell College and then starting working in the district. In my spare time, I love to read (especially biographies and historical fiction). I also enjoy watching my sons play sports and spending time with my family and friends.
