One Step Ahead

Although we were all looking forward to this event, we knew that we would have to prepare an alternate magical event should we have to cancel due to Covid-19.

Gingerbread House Decorating Contest

“Join in the fun for what is sure to become one of the highlights of our holidays at BPL”
The contest is open to all residents of Belleville.
The contest rules are:
-- All materials used to create and decorate gingerbread houses must be edible.
-- Glue may be used to attach decorations, if needed, and battery-operated lights are allowed.
-- It is recommended that contestants build their houses on plywood bases so that they can be moved easily. A base cannot exceed two feet by two feet.
Gingerbread houses must be dropped off at the Belleville Public Library by 3pm Friday, Dec. 11. They will be on display and open for voting from Monday, Dec 14. - Friday, Dec. 18. The Library will be open for visitors and voting from 10am – 4pm. Only one vote per person will be allowed.
The winner will be announced on Monday, 12/21/2020 and will receive a $100.00 Visa gift card just in time for the holidays.

Calling All Little Elves
Help decorate the tree on Academy Street

The library invites you to stop in and create your own ornament that will be placed on display for all to see! All supplies are included.
Space is limited and registration is required.

From December 14th - 18th 
1pm - 3pm
